I am, as it says, a scholar, meaning I like learning about things (both useful and metaphysical). You will almost always find me with a book.

The Pact

I promise to you my readers to post once a week something about my journeys. I promise to include pictures when able, though this will not always be possible. So check this blog once a week or so and you wont miss a thing!

Metal

To those that know me, you know that every so often I go through "metal" phases where I listen to metal bands for whatever reason. No, I am not a goth by any stretch of the imagination. I will say that if I wanted to I could pull off the Goth look, but it just doesn't seem to fit who I am. ANYWAY...

Here are a few links to different music videos (official and otherwise) using music from the Metal band of choice this particular metal age: Nightwish.

Wishmaster (to Van Helsing Clips)
Over the Hills & Far Away (if I am not mistaken originally an Irish song, official Music Video I think)
Ghost Love Score (to Lord of the Rings Clips, pretty long [almost 10 mins] so be patient)

Ok, one last link... this one is a parody clip for Wishmaster... it uses the song but fills in the "misheard lyrics" on screen... it is decent humor wise, but could have been better in my opinion.

Anyway, I would put in pics too but I am on a public pc without access to my photos, so next time!

An update and a few new pics

Summer has been slow and uneventful... nothing really to post.

Been reading some, writing letters, trying to find employment and of course trying to stay sane.

I quit playing WoW, it had ceased to be fun. Been working on a new PC build so that I can play some games that should be months of fun (such as Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Neverwinter Nights 2) but by the time I get the thing built and delivered school will have started again. Ah well, need to have something to keep me entertained with school work too.
As the title implys I am posting a few pics I have too for your perusal. Enjoy!

Boyer and family post graduation.

The Wilson "family" send off. No, I am not going to tell you which is me, or just how many of the clan are blood kin (I'll give you a hint on both counts: I no longer look as I did and it is a trick question) so let us move on.

From my trip to Vegas.

OK, those of you who love Naruto will like this video.

That said, Ethics class is done, working on getting a job (will have one by next post I hope).

Be well!

Two big things

Sorry if I am not talkative today... two big things have happened this week that y'all should know:

1) My close friend entered Basic Training in the Air Force this Monday.
2) My paternal Grandfather passed away in his sleep last night.

If any of y'all are religious out there, say some prayers for both of them.

Pictures

Again, don't have too much time to post, but here are some pics from my trip... more will be coming later.

My ethics class is fun, will tell you more later.

By now!

Part of the new church... man it is going up fast!

Evan and company processing in... Aw... don't they look dignified!

Fr. Charles and Fr. Michael processing out of Mass.

A dear friend of mine, looking like some kind of forest goddess, after graduation. Best of luck, Sarah!

Wow, that was fun

Sorry it has been so long guys, been on vacation (had papers to write before that). Can't post too much just yet, just wanted to let you know that things are going well. Next post will have pictures from my trip, recounting my great exploits, and a prognosis on what I am doing now.

Take care y'all

Upcoming Visit

Well folks, I can barely believe it but soon I will be going back home for a few weeks. The primary (initial) reason for this is that several good friends of mine are graduating from my old alma mater and I promised I would be there. From there I will be going on to visit more of my friends for the first week afterwords. Then that next week it is off to Vegas with my folks to celebrate a few birthdays in the family. Well, I need to go, so take care of yourselves travelers!

Opening Volley

Well, it begins! This is the first weekly post of this blog. I don't have time to be long winded or go off on some philosophical rant just yet. I will say that I have class tonight, I had class last night, and that there are only two or three weeks left of school!

Be well all!
